Silly Kids!

Being silly is probably one of the best things about being a kid!  I love that they are always having fun!

Cookies

Yum!

I could totally go for some cookies right now... too bad I'm trying to watch what I eat after the sugar-filled holidays!  Love this picture though.  Don't you ever feel like sitting next to the oven waiting for warm cookies to be done baking?  I sure do.  Cookies are definitely my weakness.  That and ice cream.  I'm making myself hungry... better go eat some broccoli now.

Sydney's in Primary!

Wow!  How did Sydney get big enough to be in primary?  Next thing I know I'll be dropping her off for kindergarten, and then college, I'm sure of it.  Sydney was so excited to go to primary.  We tried to prepare her by telling her that she would have a lesson instead of toys, and it hasn't seemed to phase her yet.  We dropped her off, and she was one of the only sunbeams not crying.  I do love her sense of adventure!  She has been asked to say the prayer next week, and she's excited about that.  I love that she finds life so exciting!

Our big girl...

Dancing with her "I am a Child of God" crown on...

Cooper 15 Months

We took Cooper to the doctor yesterday for his 15 month checkup.  He is healthy and happy, which is more than we could ask for!  I really just can't get enough of my cute little boy.  He is always so good natured and happy, unless he is hungry.  When he's hungry, he'll follow you around just bawling.  He follows me around a lot more than Sydney ever has.  I will often turn around to find him holding up a book to me, just begging me to read it to him, which is the cutest thing!  I also love when he says "mmm hmmm" and nods his head to say yes.  The cutest thing ever!  I actually find myself asking him questions I know he will say yes to, just to see him do that.  We are a mere 3 months away from nursery, and as much as I am entirely looking forward to that, I can't believe Cooper is getting that big!  His 15 month stats are:

Height: 28.7 inches (not on the charts)
Weight: 21.3 lbs (10 percentile)
Head Circumference: 18.4 inches (35 percentile)

Poor little guy, must take after his mother.  He didn't even make the chart for his height.  It's funny to look at his charts.  His weight shoots up from birth to 6 months.  At 6 months he weighed 17 lbs... now he weights 21.3, so ever since he started crawling his weight has stabilized.  He is still a bit on the chunky side, and his weight to height ratio is in the 70 percentile.  But he's only gained 1 lb and grown .7 inches since his 12 month check up.  Anyway, on to the pictures...

Playing with daddy's i-touch while laying in the laundry basket full of pillows... what could be better?

So happy to have a whole cookie to himself!

Cousins

Can I even tell you how excited I am that the kids have a cousin now?  Sydney absolutely adores Mason.  She is constantly talking about how cute he is.  We only wish we could see them more!  We took some pictures of the cousins for a Christmas present for Matt's parents.  They turned out so cute!  It will be so fun watching them grow up together.

Happy New Year!

Here's to a fabulous 2010 and looking forward to a wonderful 2011!  Sydney loved having a special drink with us at midnight and had fun watching the fireworks on tv, and yes my 3 year old can sadly stay up until midnight with no problems... It was so cute to hear her say "happy new year" and keep giving us new years kisses!

Cheers!
